The Overstand Logistics Story
The Birth of Overstand Logistics
I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and eventually moved to New York (Harlem) where I grew up! I attended college in Georgia and at some point decided to obtain a class A CDL, so I understand what drivers go through. Overstand Logistics was born from a deeply personal discovery related to the world of logistics. After taking an ancestry test, I learned that I had three long-lost sisters—something I never imagined possible after living most of my life believing I was an only child. With both my parents gone, meeting them filled a part of me I didn’t know was missing. I started Overstand Logistics not just as a business focused on transportation services, but as a mission—to build something strong enough to create freedom, to travel, to stay connected with the people I love, and to ensure that if the time ever comes, I’ll be able to take care of them the way family deserves, all while navigating the complexities of the supply chain.
